Abstract
The book offers a comprehensive overview of the (maritime) disputes between Greece and Turkey in the Aegean and East Mediterranean Sea. It addresses questions regarding the delimitation of the Greek territorial sea, Exclusive Economic Zone, and continental shelf, considering the Turkish opposing position. Furthermore, it discusses Turkey’s demands for the demilitarization of a series of Greek islands, as well as the Turkish claims of undetermined sovereignty over a number of islets (grey zones). The book seeks to address these matters without presupposing legal expertise. As such, it is written for both non-expert and expert readers.
